The List

I came across an old list that I have kept over the years--a list of some of the places visited or lived in, and an approximate time period for each place. The list is entitled "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" and covers a period of twenty-five years. Sometimes the time period was ten days, two months or even two years or more. San Miguel de Allende often appeared on the list--especially in the earlier periods; later Pátzcuaro began appearing often. Occasionally, there was Oaxaca and Zihuatanejo. There was the Laurentian Mountains, Quebec City, lle d' Orleans, Prescott, the Colombian River, Erongarícuaro, Nevado de Tuluca, San Carlos, and so on. There were no listings for earlier years--that would have included Piedras Niegras, Amsterdam, Brussels, Basel, the Palatine Forest (Pfaelzer Wald), the Rhine River, et cetra. Due to personal circumstances there were no listings for the past few years.

So, now I will be starting a new list. First on the new list will be Jinotega, Nicaragua.
